CQ Historic Documents Online version of the Historic Document Series, published annually since 1972.  Each volume contains approximately one hundred documents covering the most significant events of the year.  Includes presidential speeches, international agreements, Supreme Court decisions, U.S. governmental reports, scientific findings and cultural discussions.

 

CQ Researcher  Published 44 times a year, single-themed reports cover political and social issues, including topics in health, international affairs, education, the evironment, technology and the U.S. economy. 

 

CQ Weekly Coverage of U.S. Congress including status of bills, votes and amendments, floor and committee activity, debates and all roll-call votes.

 

CINAHL Plus with Full Text (EBSCOhost) CINAHL Plus with Full Text provides indexing for 3,001 journals from the fields of nursing and allied health, with indexing back to 1937. CINAHL Plus with Full Text also contains searchable cited references for more than 1,155 journals and provides full text for hundreds of journals, plus legal cases, clinical innovations, critical paths, drug records, research instruments and clinical trials. PDF backfiles to 1937 are also included. 

 

The Cochrane Library (EBSCOhost) Database of full text articles that is the best single source of reliable information on the effects of healthcare interventions. 

 

Communication & Mass Media Complete  (EBSCOhost) Provides full text coverage for over 200 journal titles and citation coverage for additional sources.

 

Corporate ResourceNet (EBSCOhost) Covers sources on U.S. and international business topics and industries; regulation and policy information; and company and product information.

 

Criminal Justice Periodicals (ProQuest)Collection of criminal justice journals including information for professionals in law enforcement, corrections administration, drug enforcement, rehabilitation, family law, and industrial security.

Expanded Academic ASAP (InfoTrac - Gale) Full text coverage of every academic concentration--from advertising and microbiology to history, political science, and art history. It also incorporates many interdisciplinary journals, and national news magazines.

 

FirstSearch (OCLC) Includes 50+ databases covering many different subject areas including Education, Business, Health Science, Arts & Humanities.

 

Hoover's Online Company & business information; includes public, private, and international companies, industries, and key people.

 

Humanities International Complete (EBSCOhost) Provides full text of hundreds of journals, books and other published sources from around the world. HIC includes all the data from American Humanities Index and Humanities International Index plus almost half a million full-text articles, many available with searchable references.

 

InfoTrac (Gale) Includes the following databases:

LEXI-PALS Drug Guide (EBSCOhost) Database of Patient Advisory Leaflets from Lexi-Comp that provides vital education on medications for patients. The approach for each pamphlet is to present each medication in an easy to follow and understand question-and-answer format. The database consists of over 1,450 medication and natural product leaflets, with an additional 600 Spanish language leaflets representing the most subscribed and commonly used medications. The database is updated monthly.

 

Literary Index (Gale) Master index to every literary series published by Gale. It combines and cross references more than 130,000 author names including pseudonyms and variant names and more than 140,000 titles into one source.

 

LitFinder  Contains a wealth of primary literature content, including citations and full text of hundreds of thousands of poems, short stories, essays, speeches and plays.

 

MagillOnLiterature  (EBSCOhost) Source for critical analyses and brief plot summaries of the most studied works in literature. MEDLINE  (EBSCOhost)  The premier source for citations and abstracts of biomedical literature.

 

MLA International Bibliography  (EBSCOhost) Indexes international scholarly materials on modern language, literature, linguistics, and folklore. Covering 1963 to the present. 

 

New Testament Abstracts (EBSCOhost) Access more than 33,000 article abstracts, 1,200 review abstracts, 12,600 book abstracts, and 50 software abstracts. Article coverage in the database dates back to 1985.

 

NewspaperARCHIVE  Contains millions of searchable newspaper pages, dating as far back as the 1700s, presented in a PDF format that preserves the original context and format of content.

 

Nursing & Allied Health Collection: Basic (EBSCOhost) Designed for nursing and allied health professionals, students, educators and researchers, this database provides full text for nearly 100 journals in nursing, biomedicine, health sciences, consumer health and allied health disciplines.

 

Nursing Reference Center-Features include Diseases & Conditions with quick lesson overviews and evidence-based care sheets , F.A. Davis's Drug Guide for Nurses, and practice resources link CINAHL Nursing Guide.

  

OT Search  (ON CAMPUS ONLY) The Occupational Therapy Bibliographic System. Tool to help identify documents related to a specific topic.

 

Old Testament Abstracts (EBSCOhost) Content from over 450 journals is covered. Topics include antiquities, archaeology, biblical theology, philology and much more. Coverage in the database dates back to 1978.

 

Professional Development Collection (EBSCOhost)  Contains over 550 full text education journals, including more than 350 peer-reviewed titles, and indexing and abstracts for more than 800 journals.

 

Project Muse  40+ full-text scholarly journals in the Humanities, Social Sciences and Mathematics.
