What do you plan to do after high school?
As you are making plans for the future, we encourage you to attend Concordia's Servants of Christ Conference to learn more about what it means to be a servant of Christ in your studies, in your work, and in all of your relationships.
EVENT DESCRIPTION
Learn about the biblical teaching of vocation: As you look to the future, you may be asking yourself questions like these: What am I good at? What do I enjoy doing? What will allow me to make a fair amount of money? These are reasonable questions, but here are some other questions to consider: What does God want me to do? How will I serve God by serving others as I do my work well? The Servants of Christ Conference will help you to wrestle with these questions as well as questions about how your college education will shape your faith and how you might be a blessing to every person you encounter.
Get information about college and careers: Whether you are considering full-time church work, education, medicine, business, computers, or any of a number of other areas of study, the Servants of Christ Conference will give you the opportunity to learn more about the education required and about career opportunities that might be a good fit for you. You will also get tips on how to use your high school education to prepare for college and how to choose a college that will work well for you.
Take part in breakaway sessions that will help you to grow in your faith: The Servants of Christ Conference will also offer breakaway sessions on such topics as how Christians relate to science, archeological proof that the Bible is true, and how to engage our culture with the truth of God’s Word and the Love of His Gospel.
